I’m looking forward to the “sequel” coming out in April: Vader’s Little Princess. It’s a quirky little book that everyone will enjoy. I highly recommend this quick read to all fans, fathers, and sons. He perfectly captures the difficulties and learning experiences which can pop up between father and son, even if they don’t have the Force or wield lightsabers. The best part of the book is the visuals created in Brown’s simple, friendly style. The story follows the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin as he straps on a baby carrier, puts a carseat in the Razor Quest, and travels. Chronicle Books will publish Jeffrey Brown’s The Mandalorian and Child, his latest gently humorous take on the Star Wars characters, in November. This review is going to be a bit shorter than the others as I don’t want to make it longer than the text in the book itself. 2 days ago &0183 &32 Posted by Brigid Alverson on J 10:12 am CT. This hardcover graphic novel features artwork by Jeffrey Brown, best know for his books Cat Getting Out of a Bag and Cats Are Weird. Darth Vader and Son is a wonderful little gem which combines Star Wars with father and son time. Cover of “Darth Vader and Son” by Jeffrey Brown.
